Recently I performed a diffuse interview with an international student from the Punjab region of India. His name is Jaspal Sidhu and he came to Canada in December 2017. Since then he has been residing in Peterborough, Ontario. He also got a nickname that is Jass. He comes from the Sikh community and wears a turban over his head. He is 21-year-old and has a dashing personality. He is six feet tall and has a well-built physique. He is very confident. Moreover, he is also a motivational speaker. This profile includes his struggle to the success story. Form the first day I met him, I was curious to interview him.
By talking to him I got to know that we lived in head-to-head cities back in India. Although we never got a chance to see each other. Starting from an early age, he tells that he was very adorable and got love from many people around him including his family, relatives, and neighbors as well. His family includes his elder brother and his parents. He went to a local school in his region up till 12th grade. He wanted to study further in India. But his parents convinced him to go abroad for higher studies. This was because his father and his brother were already well settled in Canada. They wanted him to get successful as well.
After coming to abroad he got a great G.P.A in the very first semester and also got a car by the end of the first semester. This was the result of his hard work and dedication. He also met a lot of other international students. By some time, he was treated as a boss within his group of friends. He got very famous in college due to his performance. He is very passionate about learning new things. I got to know this when I went to a swimming session with him and his friends. While everyone else was busy diving and enjoying. He was actively trying to learn swimming. He also made great progress by the end of that session.
He always says that if you wish to learn something. You should master it. Or else there is no point of learning that thing. He also discussed some of his future plans with me. He tells that he is great at painting and want to study something in the future. He also wants to visit the USA. By the end of this April, he is going to move to Toronto with his family. He has a great personality as he gave me some significant tips for endurance in Canada.

Considering the scenario in India, international studies is going through an upward trend from the last decade. But from the last two years, it has skyrocketed to a great level amount that eight out of ten students are more obsessed towards international studies. Even more of them are obsessed to study in Canada. “When Surya Sivakumar decided to pursue a graduate degree in engineering outside India, Canada was his first choice. Even before the new restrictions, the United States had become less welcoming to foreign students, as had Britain, and he’d read reports of racial intolerance in Australia. But “in Canada, that’s not an issue,” he says, and there are better-paying job opportunities here than in India. After two months at the University of Ottawa, Mr. Sivakumar doesn’t regret his choice for a minute. Except for one thing.”( BLAIR GABLE/THE GLOBE AND MAIL, OCTOBER 21, 2018, Para-2)
” The United Nations has ranked Canada as one of the best countries to live in. Canada is known for its beauty and quality of life.”
