Have a look at the Twitter thread below. Especially check out a few of the example responses to this seemingly innocuous icebreaker idea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"525\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Favorite new first-class ice breaker: \u201cShare a boring fact about yourself.\u201d<br><br>Students loved it and we laughed a lot. With this one the pressure is off to &#8220;be interesting&#8221; and the results might bring some more joy to the beginning of your course. We recommend that you use your Faculty Centre, found in the  <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/mycampus.flemingcollege.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">myCampus portal<\/a>, to send that email out (replies will come to your Outlook inbox). At the bottom of your class roster, there is the option to &#8220;notify all students&#8221;. They are all then loaded up into the BCC field (protecting the privacy of your students&#8217; information) and then you can create your message and send it. They need your help letting students know how to access their services.
