  • FACILITIES:
    • The Spa + Clinic at Fleming: Open to the public, with a focus on wellness, the Spa + Clinic at Fleming College provides a wide range of services and treatments. This is also a teaching facility where students in the Massage Therapy and Esthetician programs gain valuable real-world experience.
  • Fulford’s Bistro: Our on-campus restaurant, Fulford’s Bistro, offers a modern Canadian dining experience that doubles as a learning lab for our students. Guests can expect local, farm-to-table ingredients in unique and delectable dishes. The 65-seat bistro offers a relaxed atmosphere for gathering with friends. Enjoy craft brews, wine pairings, and signature cocktails while you dine.
  • Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre: Many of our School of Trades and Technology programs are hosted at the Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre (KTTC), an 87,000-square-foot, world-class training facility located at our Sutherland Campus in Peterborough.
  • Steele Centre: Located in the C wing of the Sutherland Campus, the Steele Centre Pub provides a laid-back, fun and interactive space for students to come and enjoy. Known for weekly events, and themed celebrations, come check out YOUR student space on campus.
  • Peterborough Sports & Wellness Center: The Sport & Wellness Centre offers drop-in activities and programs each week. You can pay per visit, purchase a multi-pass, or purchase a membership to access these programs.

    ATTRACTIONS:
  • Recreation: The Peterborough area is known around the world for great outdoor recreation, with hundreds of lakes, rivers, and parks – 134 lakes in the Peterborough region alone!

  • The historic Trent-Severn Waterway passes through the city, making it a great spot for boaters. Peterborough also boasts an extensive trail network, which is a part of the Trans-Canada Trail.

  • The city offers many restaurants, theatres, and festivals.
  • There are two city beaches open to the public for supervised swimming from mid-June to mid-August.
  • Ontario’s Provincial Parks are large areas of forest, lakes, and rivers managed by the provincial government. Many include campgrounds, picnic areas, and outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, caving, canoeing, rock climbing, and skiing.
  • In winter, residents skate and play hockey on the canal in front of the Lift Locks. Many neighborhoods also build makeshift outdoor rinks for skating and hockey.
